Cole Erdmann is the transformational leader of Illuminate, which is the leader in disease management and follow-up. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Cole has been instrumental in driving innovation and growth.
Cole began his career at Cerner, taking on CEO priority projects where he created many first-of-a-kind applications in health care IT. His journey continued by being selected to run a joint venture between Cerner and Advocate, where he created the foundation of Cerner’s population health strategy and integrated 6 EMRs, 50+ payor agreements, and bringing 5 new products in under 3 years, resulting in $100M business. Cole joined Illuminate bringing passion and a wealth of product, industry, and M&A experience.
Under Cole’s leadership, Cerner achieved the Social Impact award and had his products named in Cerner’s most innovative products.
Under Cole’s leadership, Illuminate successfully entered the Incidental Findings and Follow-up market, driving significant ROI for its clients and achieving high double-digit growth. Cole is known for bringing an amp-it-up culture and challenging the status quo to bring outsized returns to the business.
Cole holds a degree in International Business from William Jewell College and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Rockhurst University. Cole has served as a board member for the Advocate Cerner Collaboration and was a named member of the Missouri Health Network.
Beyond his professional life, Cole is passionate about staying active with his family, gardening, and working on classic cars.
