In his role as Senior Advisor at Illuminate, Dimitri is focused on product excellence and thrilling our clients. He is a successful company founder, entrepreneur, project manager, product designer, and product developer with successes across a wide variety of technologies, industries, and disciplines.
Dimitri combines astute strategic analysis with a flair for the artistic to help determine the practical and profitable. He grew up in Athens, Greece and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. In 2005, Dimitri co-founded Primordial, Inc. a company that developed industry-leading software systems to solve communication, workflow and analytics problems for radiologists and radiology departments. Primordial was purchased by Nuance Communications, Inc. in 2017, and its software remains in use at over 100 hospitals in the US and abroad including luminary hospitals such as Mass General, NYU, Yale, and the University of California system.
At Primordial, Dimitri was involved with all aspects of the company: software development and deployment, sales, and customer relations. Prior to Primordial, Dimitri held various technical and product development positions at companies such as GE, Evans & Sutherland, Prada, and the Financial Times of London.
Dimitri lives outside New York City and loves to travel to the Greek islands in the summer with his family.
