Daniel Siegal, M.D. is Vice-Chair and Associate Professor of Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Siegal received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College. He received his MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed his diagnostic radiology residency and MSK radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Siegal has extensive experience applying informatics and IT tools to improve clinical and operational workflows.
Dr. Siegal is also CMO for Henry Ford Innovations, where he reviews and evaluates new technologies and solutions, looking for solutions that can positively impact the future of healthcare. He also co-founded Navv Systems, a software company commercializing a novel infrastructure-less platform for indoor GPS in healthcare and beyond.
As a clinical advisor for Illuminate, Dr. Siegal contributes his in-depth knowledge of imaging and imaging informatics as it relates to data mining the medical record, and translating that into actionable information that can help organizations improve patient care, streamline workflows, and realize new revenue.
